Weight Loss Smoothies: Banana Breakfast Smoothie

This has all the benefits of breakfast cereal, milk and fruits in one delicious serving.

INGREDIENTS

1 banana
1 cup milk (I use skim or 1%)
2 Tbs. of honey or sugar-free honey substitute
1/2 cup granola
1/2 cup of ice

DIRECTIONS

  • Combine all the ingredients in a blender at high speed. Process for 30 seconds or until smooth.
  • Add 1/4 or 1/2 cup of plain yogurt for added tart flavor.
