I’ve made these protein balls in various forms before. I call them “protein truffles” because they are so good they deserve a fancier name then protein balls. I’ve made chocolate protein truffles and a combo of chocolate and coffee protein… this time I used vanilla protein powder and rolled them in unsweetened coconut. I think they look like Easter Bunny tails. A perfect protein packed breakfast-on-the-go or snack when you are craving something sweet.

When I started blogging my weight loss surgery journey I could never have imagined that it would allow me to cross life paths with so many awesome people. I truly believe that having a support network and staying active in the community helps “keep my head in the game” so THANK YOU for sharing the road with me and for sharing the blog and Facebook page with your friends, family, support groups. I appreciate the kind shout outs. You rock! I think 20,000 Facebook pals is worthy of a celebration…
